Fiona Eadie - Contract Tutor for Horttraining & Head Gardener at Larnach Castle Dunedin
Fiona has been working for Horttraining since 2004.She has a degree in Botany from Otago University. She's undertaken native forest research for four years, managed a native plant nursery in Auckland for eleven years and has been head gardener at Larnach Castle for eight years.
On top of all of this, Fiona is a twice published author of "100 best native plants for New Zealand gardens"
She says that she loves plants and has worked with them in some way for most of her life. Working for Horttraining has been the ideal opportunity to pass some of her significant knowledge on to others with a similar passion, and she does it oh so well!
She also loves the fact that training people is a double whammy as she can learn from the students' personal experiences as much as they can learn from hers.
Fiona and her partner Mick own a piece of land in Central Otago where they enjoy relaxing with a decent wine and good food.
